Gordon Methven was a police officer in the North of Scotland for twenty five years where he had a passion for helping resolve social issues and neighbourhood troubles. He is a qualified mediator and counselor who has helped many people turn their lives around with his friendly, common sense approach to their problems. He has been a Christian preacher and teacher for over twenty years and is also a church deacon. He is currently a freelance writer and represents the city of Elgin as a community councillor. He is married with two grown up daughters.
